Whew! It's been a B-U-S-Y weekend! Saturday, I started on a quilt top to (can you believe it?!) be auctioned off at my church auction!
I feel very humbled that they would even accept one of my quilts :) :). I am still a novice, but this is a HUGE opportunity that I am taking full advantage of!
All the materials for this quilt are from stash (yes!), and I am using a pattern from Moda Bakeshop. It's very easy, and so very pretty!
It's pretty small, about 43" square, but I think it will do pretty well.
It has been raining and yucky all day, so I apologize for the less than pretty picture!
Hopefully it will be ready for quilting tomorrow, the auction is this Saturday (!)
In other quilting progress, I've started the center for this quilt last Friday, and I've made a lot of progress since then.
It's a full-size quilt, and the quilt shop where I buy my fabric was nice enough to let me use their back room for sewing, as I don't have the floor or table space to lay out the blocks!
I think it looks so-oo pretty. The colors are just so cheery and perfect for a bed. Yum! Hopefully the top will be done this week and be ready for quilting next week. Hopefully.
Happy Monday, and Happy Quilting!
