This quilt was an absolute blast to make! Hubby was looking at it today and said, "You know, these colors remind me of the sunrise." I couldn't have said it better myself.
The quilting was something new for me. I had never done spirals before, so it was definitely a learning experience. I do love them, though. It gives the quilt a whimsical, airy feel.
No shams yet! I will have those done on Tuesday. This weekend has been busy, busy, busy! Family get-togethers all weekend.
Tuesday is also my last day of classes, then it's summer break! Thank. Goodness!
I would normally say I'm so happy to be able to relax and decompress, but I know the summer will be just as busy with quilty things. But I'd much rather be quilting :).
